We are seeking to appoint an additional Learning & Behaviour Mentor to our Alternative Provision / PRU in Lichfield, as a result of growth in our provision. The role will involve delivering small group, and one-to-one interventions to children who need additional support to make progress in their learning.
We are seeking someone who has the skill, resilience, aptitude and initiative to work with leaders, teachers and teaching assistants to support our children to make good choices, and learn our curriculum in an alternative way.
There will be opportunity to support children directly with their learning; provide pastoral and behavioural intervention; and support our whole-school personal development programme - Widening Horizons, that seeks to develop the character of each student at our school.
Either primary or secondary experience is desirable, but it is preferable that you have experience working in SEND settings; Alternative Provision; PRU or in specialist provision.
