The Role

We are seeking to appoint an inspirational and dynamic Strategic Lead for High Needs who has a passion for supporting students with additional needs and wishes to further develop their career in pastoral setting.

The postholder will be responsible for supporting students identified as high needs with the intent of reintegrating them successfully back into mainstream lessons. The successful applicant will have experience of working with young people who have special educational needs and have a good awareness of inclusion with demonstrable knowledge of strategic approaches to SEND.


Salary:                £32,076 - £39,186 Full time equivalent (Actual salary £28,084.26 - £34,309.44 per annum)


Location:            The Coleshill School, Coventry Road, Coleshill, Warwickshire B46 3EX


Hours:                 37 hours per week, Term time only


Start Date:         Required as soon as possible

·        Qualification and/or experience relating to working pastorally with young people.

·        An understanding, knowledge and experience of working with children with special educational needs.

·        Must be First Aid trained
