We have an exciting internal opportunity for a Lead Designated Safeguarding Lead, based at The Bridge Academy. The Bridge Academy is an all through (5-16 years) alternative education academy based across two sites in Lichfield and Rugeley. It caters for students from key stages 1 to 4 who are needing an alternative placement in a different educational setting.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and outstanding practitioner to take overall responsibility for safeguarding children and child protection (including online safety), in the setting by ensuring that the school is meeting its legal statutory requirements as laid out in Keeping Children Safe in Education 2023.
The successful candidate will ideally have experience of leading on safeguarding and possess the drive and enthusiasm to lead on improving outcomes for children.
