The Role

The Arthur Terry Learning Partnership has an exciting opportunity for a Chef Manager to join our friendly Catering Team, based at Dunstall Park Primary School.

Dunstall Park Primary School is our brand new development opening in September 2024. It is located on a new housing estate located on the outskirts of Tamworth. The one form entry school will be the heart of this brand new community; the ‘go to’ place for all our local residents who love where they live. 

As Chef Manager you will have full responsibility for the catering department and will lead the team in delivering freshly produced lunches for the pupils and school staff. Within this role, your key focus will be delivered the highest quality of food and service for our pupils and ensuring that the catering offer is exciting and innovative through the development of your team and continuous review and improvement.

You will naturally be a strong leader, with the ability to motivate a team to create a positive work culture and ensure all objectives are met. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual passionate about catering to develop their leadership and management experience.

 

Salary:               £25,119 - £31,364 FTE (actual annual salary £17,832 - £22,265 per annum)

Hours:                30 hours per week, term time only, Monday to Friday

Location:            Dunstall Park Primary School, Austen Drive, Tamworth B78 3BQ

 

What you will need to succeed

Relevant experience of working within the catering industry

NVQ Level 1 & 2 or City & Guilds 706/1 and 2 or equivalent

Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate

Be emotionally intelligent with the ability to build strong working relationships with students, staff, parents and carers
